An Overview of Unito's Jira Server Integration

Connecting Jira Server with Unito? Here’s what you can expect from this integration.

Unito syncs issues from Jira Server projects by linking individual fields from these issues to items in other tools (e.g., Trello cards, ServiceNow records, GitHub issues).

Jira issue

Unito supports 41 fields for Jira Server. Here’s a list of these fields as well as supported sync directions and rules.

Unito’s Jira Server integration also supports the following features:

  • Subtasks: Jira subtasks can be synced with other tools that have subtasks, such as Asana.
  • Issue types: When a Jira issue is created to match a task in another tool — like a Trello card — you can determine which issue type will be created by default.
  • Copied, linked, and streamed attachments: You can sync Jira attachments as hyperlinks that lead right to the tool you sync with, distinct attachments available even without access to the synced tool, or a copy available natively within both tools.
  • Issue numbers as prefixes: You can have a Jira issue number automatically added as a prefix in the work item it’s synced to outside of Jira Server.
  • Rich text formatting: When syncing fields with rich text, Unito can sync headings, bold, underline, italic, strikethrough, hyperlinks, unordered lists, and tables.
